Orchestral Players

Are you interested in playing exciting repertoire with an engaged group of young musicians on a few short, focused rehearsals before the concert?
​
We are very happy to hear from young musicians based within reach of London during school/university holiday time who have an interest in playing advanced orchestral music. The orchestra operates on a project basis and the lineup is very flexible between concerts depending on who is available. There is no formal audition process, but we are looking for people who can demonstrate:

Grade 8+ on their instrument or equivalent

Some previous orchestral experience

An enthusiasm to achieve the best possible in a limited time

An ability to attend two or three consecutive days' rehearsal in London during the easter or summer holidays

Soloists and Composers

Looking for performance opportunities as a concerto soloist or composer?
​
The orchestra is committed to furthering the opportunities available for promising young musicians aspiring to be soloists and composers as well as orchestral musicians. Whilst the orchestra is currently limited to only two concerts a year we look forward to hearing from those composers and instrumentalists nearing the end of their study at conservatoires.
