The Venue
East London Symphony Orchestra are resident at St John of Jerusalem Church, Hackney, and perform most of their concerts there. The Anglican church stands over Well Street Common in South Hackney. Well serviced by bus and train, it is an ideal concert venue, with a generous acoustic as well as a delightful team of clergy to welcome us.

The church is a 15 minute walk from Hackney Central, an overground station which can be reached from Highbury & Islington Tube Station on the Victoria Line. Alternatively buses run from outside Mile End Station on the Central Line every 12 minutes. Please note that concerts begin at the earlier time of 7pm.
